My Experience Taking Senior Photos at Penn State
Back in April, I made the trip to The Pennsylvania State University's University Park campus for my cousin's senior portraits. I was grateful to have her with me for my first experience taking senior portraits on such a large campus.

My aunt, cousin, her boyfriend, and I started our 3-hour journey at the sign outside of Beaver Stadium. We had to wait in line for approximately 45 minutes. I personally go to a smaller school in Central PA, so this was a bit of a surprise for me.
The theme of waiting in line remained as we visited Old Main and the Lion Shrine. However, I was quick to find ways around the crowd while still capturing great shots. It was fun to see all the grads dressed up and photographers of differing skill levels working hard to photograph to their best ability.
Penn State Main is a beautiful campus for a variety of senior photo opportunities. I hope to return again, next time better prepared to navigate the crowds!
